From Competition BBQ to Killer Hogs
Killer Hogs didn’t come from a business plan. It started around a grill, cooking barbecue.Back in 2001, Malcom and Waylon Reed were cooking on the competition circuit as the Killer Hogs BBQ team. That meant spending week after week refining recipes, adjusting cooks, tweaking flavors and learning how to get consistent results. That process of cooking, refining, and dialing in recipes until they were perfect is what built Killer Hogs Rubs & Sauces. What started as a competition team has grown into a full line of barbecue products built on the same idea, make it taste right and make it repeatable.
Along the way, Malcom launched HowToBBQRight, sharing what he was learning and cooking with people doing the same thing at home.
